artist's notes

this eponymous work pays homage to my lifelong inspiration: french sculptor auguste rodin and his famous 'the thinker' statue. unfortunately, the work didn't fully survive the kiln with the hand separating and breaking from the rest of the sculpture. one of my favourites that I may recreate with more experience in-hand in future.
