thank you for taking an interest in my art - my name is Nik and medusadreams.com is a portfolio of my work with natural clay. i sculpt in a mix of realist with surrealist styles of whatever is in front of me - usually wonderfully patient live models.

i started in september 2023 after some considerable emotional turmoil in the preceding months. channeling my feelings became a journey of learning an entirely new craft, and has mostly taken place in classroom environments in the city i love the most. i was guided at city lit, morley college, wm college and art academy in london by highly experienced artists as my teachers: alexandra harley, luke jones, frank harris and laura postle.

my inner goal is to transfer my spiritual energy into my works through the act of physical sculpting. my outer goal is to develop beautiful works of art that provoke thought and feeling in the viewer.
